I have been fishing since I was a small child with my grandfather. We spent most weekends together fishing.

Fifteen years ago, I picked up my first fly rod and haven’t looked back since. My dedication to the art of fly fishing led me to the fishing manager role of the Baton Rouge Orvis store. This is where I honed my skills for teaching beginners the basics of fly fishing and fly tying, as well as providing casting lessons to more advanced anglers. Some of my happiest moments are when I put someone on their first fish on the fly or put more distance on someone’s cast.

Eventually, I became store manager of the Baton Rouge Orvis, where I worked with local guides and other organizations, as well as running the store.

Throughout my time at Orvis, I frequently brought clients to the White River on hosted trips and fell in love with the area. My family and I have relocated to this area and are excited to call it home.
